Meet The Speakers
Darren Pulsipher
Chair of The Open Group’s Open Digital Transformation Forum
Dr. Darren Pulsipher is a technology executive, enterprise architect, author, educator, and international speaker focused on digital transformation and AI-augmented organizations. As Chief Enterprise Architect for Intel’s Public Sector organization, he works with government, education, and enterprise leaders on artificial intelligence, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data transformation, and organizational modernization.
Darren holds a PhD in Technology and Innovation Management and is an inventor on eight patents related to distributed, grid, and cloud computing. His career spans more than three decades and includes leadership roles as a CIO, Director of Engineering, and technology strategist, as well as work with organizations including IBM, GE, Toyota, and federal, state, and local governments.
He serves as Chair of The Open Group’s Open Digital Transformation Forum and on The Open Group Governing Board, teaches graduate-level technology courses, and is the author of multiple books, including the AI-Augmented series. Darren also hosts the Embracing Digital Transformation podcast, where he explores how leaders can combine people, processes, data, and technology to create meaningful and sustainable transformation.
Edward Lovatt
EA & BPM Consultant at BOC Group
Edward Lovatt is an EA & BPM Consultant at BOC Group, working with organizations across a variety of industries and markets on their business process management and enterprise architecture initiatives. His work focuses on helping organizations better understand and connect their processes, capabilities, systems, and wider enterprise landscape, creating a stronger foundation for transformation and informed decision-making. He also supports organizations in exploring how AI can be applied within BPM and EA to improve efficiency, generate insights, and accelerate their transformation initiatives.
Rudi Kloppers
Head of Commercial | Senior Consultant
Rudolph (Rudi) Kloppers is Lead Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Transformation Consultant and Commercial Head at Knotion Consulting, with 15+ years of experience across Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Business Process Management and strategic transformation. He has led large-scale architecture and operating model initiatives for organisations including Telkom Group, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, SARB and Q LINK, helping executive and architecture teams connect strategy, capability, data, applications and technology into decisions they can actually act on. TOGAF 10 and ArchiMate 3 certified, Rudi is also an experienced EA trainer and facilitator. His current focus is on AI-ready Enterprise Architecture, most recently using AI-generated, interactive architecture views to help a client integrate two businesses post-acquisition, and on how organisations can use architecture to reduce transformation risk and prepare for AI-enabled operating models.
Dr Judith van der Linde
Senior Specialist: Enterprise Architect
Dr. Judith van der Linde is Head of Architecture & Digital Platforms at BCX, part of the Telkom Group. Her work focuses on enterprise architecture, architecture governance and aligning technology decisions with business intent. Her doctoral research explored the management of business capability stability through enterprise architecture, examining how organisations can adapt to change while preserving design intent and enterprise coherence. She brings together research and practical leadership experience, with a particular interest in the evolving role of architecture and human accountability as AI reshapes organisational capabilities.

Matthew Fry
Business Process & Operational Excellence Leader
Matthew is a senior business process and operational excellence leader with 25+ years of experience driving business transformation, process optimisation, and performance improvement across complex, multi-functional organisations.
He specialises in designing and embedding business process frameworks that align operational performance with strategic objectives. His experience spans process governance, operating model improvement, KPI frameworks, organisational transformation, risk and compliance, and technology-enabled process optimisation.
In his current role, Matthew leads business effectiveness and process initiatives, working with executive stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, strengthen governance, and drive measurable business outcomes. He has led major process transformations, streamlined large operational functions, implemented enterprise process management tools, and delivered measurable reductions in delivery timescales.
